Internet Marketing vs. Print Media

All companies need a mode of advertising to inform the public about the products and/or services they are offering. In this day and age, the Internet has become …a huge force in increasing a company’s consumer base.

Internet Marketing provides opportunity to expand the visibility of your company to people worldwide. With over 1 billion users, per day, not only does the Internet increase a company’s exposure, with a search engine friendly website, it does so in a more cost effective manner. Through an effective analytics program, a company would have the ability to track and analyze the traffic coming to their website; thus making adjustments to meet their marketing goals and fully utilize their website’s capability.

Print Media is another effective, but yet, archaic, method to market a company’s services. Newspapers, magazines, phone books, fliers, etc. are prime examples of basic print marketing which are more costly and not guaranteed to be found by potential clients. Think about how many times you have thrown away a piece of paper you have received in the mail without glancing at it, i.e. junk mail.
